Scientists from UH Manoa's Cancer Research Center find genetic marker

Researchers from UH Manoa's Cancer Research Center of Hawai'i played a key role in validating a genetic marker associated with ovarian cancer risk that was recently discovered by an international research group in the United Kingdom. Drs. Marc Goodman, Galina Lurie, Michael Carney, and Keith Terada participated in the Ovarian Cancer Association Consortium, a worldwide network of scientists who conduct ovarian cancer research.
