At the cancer center our goal is to reduce the burden of cancer through research, education and service. To this end, the Center operates three active research programs in Epidemiology, Natural Products and Cancer Biology, and Prevention and Control. In addition a new program is being developed in Thoracic Oncology. These programs are supported by nine state of the art Shared Resources and a broad Education and Training mission. Finally this cutting edge research is made accessible to our local health care and research communities through four Partnership and Outreach projects. We encourage you to learn more about these outstanding core programs and their many accomplishments in these pages.
